It prepares acrylic paint to an ideal airbrush consistency while, unlike thinning with water alone, preserving the adhesion and strength of the paint film even when heavily diluted. Once dry, it forms a flexible, water-resistant film of archival quality and effectively helps prevent runs and nozzle clogging.

Product details

Brand: GOLDEN

Product type: acrylic airbrush medium

Film properties: flexible, water-resistant, archival quality

Country of origin: USA

Use and application

The medium is suitable for both fluid and thicker GOLDEN acrylics, and can also be used to thin GAC polymers for spraying (at a ratio of approximately 2 parts GAC to 1 part Airbrush Medium). Mix the medium into the paint until you reach the desired consistency, stir thoroughly, and spray.
