Its coarser filler creates a firm, distinctly grainy, matte surface when dry, which serves as an absorbent ground for additional layers of paint. It holds tool marks exceptionally well, making it ideal for creating tactile reliefs and landscape textures.

Details and Features

Brand: GOLDEN

Product line: Coarse Molding Paste

Surface when dry: grainy, matte, firm, absorbent

Features: opaque, water-thinnable while working, archival quality

Mixability: can be tinted with GOLDEN acrylic paints

Manufacturer: Golden Artist Colors, New York

Country of origin: USA

Use and Application

Apply the paste to a rigid surface with a palette knife and let it dry thoroughly.
