It makes the paint more fluid and transparent while reducing its gloss, and preserves the film-forming properties of the acrylic emulsion, so the layer stays intact even when heavily thinned. It is an ideal choice for artists who want a matte finish with techniques that imitate watercolor, gouache, or fresco.

Product details

Brand: MAIMERI

Volume: 200 ml

Base: water-based acrylic

Finish: matte

Thinning: water

Manufacturer tradition: since 1923 (Italy)

Pack: 1 pc

How to Use

Apply the medium in thin layers with a soft brush, directly with acrylic paint, to create delicate transparent washes that imitate watercolor, gouache, or fresco effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you apply this medium to a surface? Apply it in thin layers with a soft brush.

What can you use to thin this acrylic medium? The medium is water-based and can be thinned with water.

Does acrylic paint stay intact even after heavy thinning? Yes, the medium preserves the film-forming properties of the acrylic emulsion, so the layer stays intact.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0861/8010/2488/files/maimeri-extra-fluid-matte-medium-200-ml-ie-maim5924842-1.jpg?v=1791239857
https://20a254-6e.myshopify.com/en-ie/products/maimeri-extra-fluid-matte-medium-200-ml-ie-maim5924842
