Its higher acrylic binder content and finer grain ensure excellent adhesion for oil paintings, even when the canvas is subjected to long-term mechanical stress. Once dry, it requires no additional isolation, so you can apply oil paints directly to the surface.

Product details

Brand: MAIMERI

Volume: 500 ml

Type: acrylic primer for oil painting (No. 616)

Suitable surfaces: canvas, wood, cardboard

Thinning and cleanup: water

Brand origin: Italy (tradition since 1923)

Use and application

Apply the primer in 1 to 2 thin coats with a brush or roller, allowing each coat to dry completely before the next step.
