Apply it directly to the surface of a still-wet layer of paint to shorten the drying time of individual layers and make it easier to work on a multi-layer oil painting. It is an excellent aid for multi-stage painting techniques that require the underlying layer to dry faster before another layer is applied.

Product details

Brand: MAIMERI

Type: oil paint drier spray (aerosol)

Volume: 400 ml

Weight: 0.387 kg

Pack contents: 1 pc

Use and application

Apply the drier evenly to the wet layer of paint from a distance of approximately 25–30 cm. Use it sparingly, as too much drier can cause the paint film to crack. Follow the “fat over lean” rule when working, with each successive layer containing more oil than the previous one, and work in a ventilated area.

Frequently asked questions

How do you apply spray drier? Apply an appropriate amount evenly and directly to the wet layer of oil paint from a distance of 25–30 cm.

What can happen if you use too much drier? Applying too much drier can cause unwanted cracking in the dried paint film.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0861/8010/2488/files/maimeri-spray-siccative-for-oil-paints-400-ml-ie-maim5832603-1.jpg?v=1791239870
https://20a254-6e.myshopify.com/en-ie/products/maimeri-spray-siccative-for-oil-paints-400-ml-ie-maim5832603
