Make Your Own: Easter Eggs with Glitter
It has long been the case that Easter decorations include more than just wax-decorated eggs. Today, there are many supplies, decorations, and techniques to draw on when crafting. We’d like to add another idea to your collection, so today we’re showing you how to decorate Easter eggs with glitter!

At first, there was an egg… or a chicken? Well, we’ll leave that question to the experts and focus on the egg we need for this project. Of course, you can choose a natural egg, but we’d rather use a wooden one, which doesn’t need to be handled with kid gloves. A polystyrene egg or an egg attached to a stick is also easy to work with. After decorating, you can put it straight in a flowerpot among the flowers. :)

To start, you can mark on the egg how far up the paint will reach. We recommend using masking tape, which you can remove safely after painting the egg. (Of course, you can also paint the whole egg and decorate just one section with flakes and glitter.)

Out of respect for nature, we try to create in a more eco-friendly way. That’s why we chose KREUL Nature paints for decorating. They are eco-friendly and gentle on the environment.

Once the paint is dry, we’ll use decoupage glue. Simply apply it to the area you’ve chosen. We recommend sprinkling the flakes onto a sheet of paper, where you can pick them up one at a time. When you’re done, you can brush another layer of glue over the glitter.

The beauty of this decoration lies not only in its simplicity, but also in the possibilities and color combinations you can create on the eggs. You can also choose metallic flakes, which give Easter eggs an interesting look.
