The Hummingbird, Spring Flowers and Lion kits contain a plastic frame, embroidery fabric, 8 threads, 2 needles, a needle threader and cross-stitch instructions. The open-weave fabric is stretched over the frame, which makes stitching easier.
How do you learn to crochet?
The crochet craft kit contains 6 balls of cotton yarn, a size 3 hook, stitch markers, a tape measure and needles, and video tutorials (via a QR code) teach you the basic techniques step by step – you end up with as many as 6 crocheted dishcloths.
What is a punch needle?
A pen with a needle that you use to punch thread or yarn into fabric – the design forms on the other side, either smooth or as a textured 3D surface. The set has 3 needles of different thicknesses and 2 threaders; you’ll also need a hoop and fabric, ideally linen or cotton.
What do I need for macramé?
Cord – for example a 2 mm cotton cord whose fibers can be combed out into tassels – and a wooden ring or dowel. The macramé craft kit teaches you five knotting techniques by video, and you’ll make a dreamcatcher with it.
