Canson C a grain is a high-quality drawing paper with a fine grain, made for artists, students, and classroom use. Thanks to its carefully sized surface, the paper allows easy corrections without damaging the fibers and is completely acid-free. It works well for drawing with pencil, charcoal, sanguine, or pastels. With its 180 g/m² weight, it can also handle diluted watercolor, ink, and other light wet media without significant buckling.
One of the paper’s main advantages is its two distinct working surfaces. The more pronounced side holds dry pigment better, makes layering easier, and grips charcoal or pastels, while the smoother side is ideal for precise details and fine pencil drawing.
