Matte Glazing Medium DALER ROWNEY System3 is a transparent medium for acrylic paints. It effectively reduces gloss and increases the transparency and flow of the paint while you work. It dries to a smooth, satin-matte finish and preserves the film-forming properties of acrylics, so the layer remains intact even when heavily diluted. Mix it directly into the paint on your palette. The more medium you add, the more transparent the glaze will be.
This medium is ideal for subtle glazes, smooth tonal transitions, and atmospheric effects. It allows you to build up layers without unwanted cloudiness. Let each layer dry thoroughly before applying the next. It is fully compatible with Daler-Rowney acrylics and other water-based acrylic paints. Simply wash your tools with water before the medium dries.
