I’m so happy with these paints! I’m a new fan of Jean Haines, and when I found out she uses these paints, I had to try them.
I’d already tried a few PrimaTek colors, including Rhodonite, which I use a lot, and I’m thrilled with them.
This is a really well-curated selection of 24 colors. I added manganese blue to the set, and I’m happy with it.
I wasn’t sure about buying these expensive half pans, but I have to say I haven’t stopped using them since.
I spent a long time wondering whether to buy this set, and I definitely don’t regret it.
The replaceable tips let me control the flow of masking fluid. The different widths are really useful. I used the wider cut for larger areas in cartoons and the narrower one for detailed lines and dots. The fluid is easy to remove, doesn’t stain, and is the best masking fluid I’ve ever used.
This masking fluid is much better than the blue one I used before. It doesn’t stain the paper. It goes on white and turns slightly yellow as it dries, so you can see it. It also comes with replacement fine tips that stay clear, so there’s no clogged needle. I’m very happy with it!
I don’t plan to use the included tips. I prefer to squeeze a little onto a palette and work with a needle or toothpick. The bottle is smaller than I expected, but it will probably last a long time since you don’t have to open the whole container every time you use it. No dried-out latex tips!
