Suitable fabrics for painting include cotton, viscose, and blended fabrics containing up to 20% synthetic fibers. After painting and once the paints have dried, heat-set the fabric with an iron. The paint will then be lightfast and water-resistant, and can be washed at temperatures up to 60 °C (inside out).
