Opaque fabric markers from the German brand KREUL in black and white are great for decorating fabric. The two contrasting colors come with two tip options. The fine tip is suited to detailed work and patterns, while the medium tip is for coloring. Ideal for creating a range of black-and-white illustrations on fabric, regardless of the fabric color. The fabric markers can be refilled, reducing plastic and waste. Before painting, wash the fabric without fabric softener or conditioner. Place parchment paper between the fabric layers to prevent the paint from bleeding through to the other side. The markers use a pressure system, so they need to be shaken to let the paint flow into the tip. Before use, it is also a good idea to press the tip a few times to get the ink flowing, ensuring a steady flow. Once the paint has dried, the fabric can be ironed on the cotton setting and washed inside out on a gentle cycle at up to 40 degrees Celsius.
