KREUL JAVANA Fabric Bleaching Set

The JAVANA KREUL Fabric Bleaching Set contains everything you need to create unique designs on fabric surfaces. The pack includes two containers of fabric paints, suitable for painting on silk and light-colored fabrics made of cotton, viscose, linen, and blended fabrics containing no more than 20% synthetic fibers, two self-adhesive stencils featuring a leaf and a flower, a synthetic brush, and an instruction booklet with techniques and ideas. When working with the paints and stencils, you can bleach the fabric in direct sunlight or use a hair dryer to dry the paint. After painting and drying the fabric with the stencil in place, you need to heat-set the fabric. You can do this after removing the stencil by ironing the fabric (set the iron to the cotton setting for 3 min), covering the fabric with a thin cloth. Once heat-set, the fabric is lightfast and can be washed at up to 40°C. After cleaning the stencil, stick it back onto the film.

Follow these steps to create designs:

wash the fabric before painting

apply the fabric paint with a brush

remove the stencil from the film

place the stencil in the wet paint and press down evenly

leave the fabric with the stencil in direct sunlight (10-20 min) or use a hair dryer on the cool setting (10 min)

the stencil must not extend beyond the fabric and must not be removed before drying, as this will result in blurred edges

after drying, remove the stencil to reveal the motif on the fabric

heat-set the fabric by ironing (3 min on the cotton setting), covering it with a thin cloth

stick the cleaned stencil back onto the film
