LUKAS Studio Oil Paint Set, 12×20 ml
LUKAS STUDIO OIL is a modern line of premium-quality LUKAS oil paints. This set of oil paints for artists is ideal for demanding artists and students looking for professional oil paints with high pigmentation and reliable quality. These oil paints in tubes contain only high-quality pigments in high concentrations, ensuring exceptional intensity and richness of shades. Triple milling finely disperses the pigments in the paint, giving it a smooth, creamy consistency that spreads easily. The addition of finely bleached beeswax gives the paints their characteristic buttery texture while protecting the paint film from brittleness and cracking. These fast-drying oil paints can be applied straight from the tube or mixed with oil mediums for different techniques. They are suitable for painting on canvas, wood, or painting boards. A pre-prepared, stretched support with primer is recommended to prevent binder absorption and loss of gloss in the paints.
Thanks to its quality formula and versatile use, LUKAS STUDIO OIL is an ideal choice for anyone who wants to take their oil painting to a higher level.

Customer reviews
These are great water-mixable oils. Compared with other brands, they have the best buttery feel straight from the tube. The colors are truly rich and intense, and the shades are clean. They work for any kind of oil watercolor. I love them.
I was looking for a water-mixable yellow oil paint that was truly opaque. I found it in this Lukas Berlin Permanent Yellow. I tested its opacity by adding a small amount of this yellow to white, and the result was great: the color stayed creamy white with a subtle yellow tint. It’s also very lightfast.
So far, I’ve only used the white. It seems very thick, without excess oil. That meant I could add a quick-drying medium and make an underpainting, which was a challenge with the water-mixable oils I used before. A very promising start.
