MUSEAL Linen Canvas on a 10-Meter Roll, Various Widths

Museal Linen Canvas on a roll is known for its first-class quality. It is an exceptional canvas born of nature. It is timeless, traditional, and made for great things. It is made from 100% pure linen, stretched to a high standard and carefully coated with two layers of gesso. With a canvas weight of 400 g/m² and a medium-sized texture of 12.5 x 12.5 threads/m², it is the best choice for traditional and professional artists. Oil painting, acrylic painting, as well as watercolor and tempera works, all look exceptional on Museal canvas. It differs from the popular ARTMiE Profi Canvas by its more pronounced texture.

Linen canvas is also highly valued for linen’s unique properties. Linen is an exceptionally strong natural fiber. It resists abrasion and other environmental effects very well. If you want your work to stand the test of time and give your efforts the same surface as the old masters, choose Museal, an Italian canvas.

In Italy, the cradle of art, the quality of canvas is appreciated. We chose a workshop that will take care of preparing the canvas perfectly for you.

The canvas’s universal preparation, with one layer of natural glue and two layers of Gesso, gives it excellent adhesion for acrylic paints and oil paints. The Gesso acrylic dispersion also gives the canvas high moisture resistance, preserves its flexibility, and ensures a long-lasting binder. Working with linen canvas is a pleasure from the very first brushstrokes.
