Pebeo Ceramic ceramic paints are ready to use straight away. The various shades can be mixed together. Pebeo porcelain paints are rich and glossy. After baking, they have an enamel or glaze finish. Paints are suitable for surfaces and materials such as glass, porcelain, ceramic pottery, metal, steel, copper, and more. For porous surfaces, first apply a primer that fills the pores. Fire them for 35 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius in a home oven. Let them dry for 24 hours before firing. Once set in the oven, painted objects are durable and can be washed in a dishwasher. If you want to layer the hobby paints, fire the first layer at only 100 degrees Celsius, then apply the second layer. Finally, fire everything at the standard 150 degrees Celsius. When applied thickly, the ceramic paints can be combined with other materials such as sand to add texture to the product. Objects decorated with ceramic paints are not suitable for practical use and are for decorative purposes only. Paint only surfaces that are not intended to come into contact with food.
