Pebeo Odorless Mineral Spirits is an organic solvent with a low aromatic hydrocarbon content, developed for comfortable use in enclosed studio spaces. Compared with regular turpentine, it has minimal odor and lower toxicity with short-term exposure. It is used to thin oil paints, alkyd mediums, and Pebeo Fantasy Moon and 4Artist Marker products. When used at the recommended dilution of 10–20% by volume, it does not affect the painting’s final gloss.
To clean brushes after using solvent-based paints and oil mediums, a two-bath method (coarse and fine cleaning) followed by washing with soap and water has proven effective. Store the product in a sealed container away from flames and heat sources.
