Pebeo Studio Black Gesso 225 ml
Black acrylic gesso from the PEBEO Studio Acrylics line is used to prepare surfaces before painting with acrylic paints, oil paints, and tempera paints. It creates a deep base ideal for dramatic colors and dark tones, while leaving an absorbent, slightly grainy surface with excellent adhesion. It can be used by professional artists, art students, and hobbyists on various surfaces, including canvas, wood, paper, cardboard, drywall, and MDF boards.
This thick, heavy-body primer can be diluted with water before application to create a thinner layer. Apply it with a brush, palette knife, or roller in one or more coats. After application, it is dry to the touch in 30 to 60 minutes and forms a firm, non-sticky film that can be lightly sanded for a perfectly smooth surface. Simply wash tools with water immediately after use.
