Pebeo Vitrea 160 Iridescent Medium is a special auxiliary medium designed for Vitrea 160 glass paints. You can apply it directly to clean glass for a pearlescent effect on its own, or mix it with the paints at a ratio of 1:3 (medium:paint). This gives any shade a new iridescent dimension that changes with the viewing angle. In larger amounts, it creates soft iridescent pastel tones and also extends the paints’ working time.
The medium is nontoxic, water-based, and fully compatible with all Vitrea 160 shades. After applying it, let the artwork dry for 24 hours, then fire it in a conventional oven to ensure high durability.
- Volume: 45 ml
- Effect: pearlescent, iridescent glitter gloss that changes in the light
- Use: on its own or mixed with Vitrea 160 paints (recommended ratio: 1:3)
- Features: extends working time, nontoxic, water-based
- Fixing: dry for 24 hours, then fire at 160 °C for 40 minutes (dishwasher-safe)
