ROSA Studio Acrylic Gesso
Acrylic Gesso is a professional-grade surface preparation primer designed to create an optimal painting ground on canvas, wood, cardboard, paper, and other porous surfaces. This water-based acrylic gesso seals the surface and creates a uniform, slightly absorbent white ground that improves paint adhesion and prevents oil from acrylic or oil paints from penetrating into the support material. The smooth, even application ensures consistent color performance and extends the life of both the painting and the surface. Essential for artists who stretch their own canvases or prepare custom painting surfaces, it can be applied with a brush or roller in one or two coats. Dries quickly to a flexible, non-cracking film. Compatible with both acrylic and oil painting techniques. A fundamental studio supply for serious painters.
