The Rembrandt Cool Greens soft pastels set from traditional Dutch manufacturer Royal Talens (since 1899) offers a professional selection of 5 half pastels in Bluish Green shades (640.2, 640.3, 640.5, 640.7, 640.9). With a high proportion of pure pigment and rich coverage, these pastels are designed especially for artists working on pastel or other textured paper.
Their soft consistency leaves a smooth, blendable mark and makes layering, shading, and blending colors directly on the surface easy. You can blend them with your finger or a tortillon, break them for detailed work with an edge or flat side, and reliably fix finished layers with fixative to prevent unwanted smudging.
