Schmincke AQUA-Grund Coarse Watercolor Ground Medium, 300 ml
Coarse Watercolor Ground AQUA-Grund Schmincke 300 ml
AQUA-Grund coarse from Schmincke serves as a ground for painting with watercolors. It is a white, lightweight, age-resistant, coarsely textured primer. It is intended for watercolor work on grease-free surfaces such as canvas, cardboard, or wood. It is lightfast. It dries to an elastic, matte, textured film.
How to use:
Stir briefly before use if needed. AQUA-Grund is ready to use and should be applied undiluted to the surface with a palette knife. Once dry, it can be painted over directly with watercolors. Drying time depends on the thickness of the layer and ranges from a few minutes to several hours. If needed, the undried product can be tinted with watercolor or acrylic paint. The medium must never get into watercolor pans. If needed, mix it separately on a palette. Clean tools with water or soapy water immediately after use. Close the container immediately after use.
