If layers thicker than 1 cm are needed, they should be applied gradually. The drying time of the texture paste depends on the thickness of the layer and ranges from a few minutes to several hours. Once dry, the medium can be painted over directly with acrylic paints. The gel is mixable with water, but dries water-insoluble. Mixing it with gold acrylic flakes produces metallic shades ranging from yellow gold to antique gold and bronze.
