Best results are achieved when spray-applied at working temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, with an air pressure of 2 bars and a nozzle size of - 0.3 mm. Do not use the product at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Shake well before use.

I really appreciate the quality and sturdiness of Schmincke metal palettes. The hinges on the box lid (with 4 roomy mixing wells) and on the folding palette are sturdy and resist bending or breaking, even with frequent use. The half-pan slots hold them securely, but they’re also easy to switch out for other colors. The set also includes a folding color swatch card, a really nice detail. The lid closes tightly.
I ordered this box to hold 5 ml tubes, and I’m very happy with it. Sometimes you need to turn the tubes a little so the caps don’t stick out (which puts pressure on the mixing surface and makes it harder to close), but the box can still be closed securely. It’s a sturdy, well-made box with white enamel mixing surfaces. You can also stretch a rubber band around the box and tuck in a brush.
As you’d expect from Schmincke, the box is excellent quality and built to last. I use it as an addition to a larger watercolor box for a few extra colors, for example, from their new granulating range. I’d also take it on vacation with a selection of colors. I also like the thumb loop on the back, which lets you hold the palette in your hand. A nice product.
I’ve now filled this palette with my favorite colors, and I love it. The lid closes perfectly and tightly, which is very satisfying. An excellent Schmincke watercolor palette with plenty of room for mixing colors.
