Schmincke medium for mixing pigments to make your own casein paints and casein tempera. The binder dries to a film that resists rubbing but remains water-soluble. It can also be thinned with water if needed. The mixing ratio of binder to pigment depends greatly on the type of colorant. Start with equal amounts of binder and pigment, then add binder or pigment until you reach the desired consistency. Dried paint strokes should have a smooth surface and should not come off when rubbed with a dry fist. The separately mixed paints can be thinned with water if needed. Self-mixed tempera binders and separately mixed tempera paints are intended for use as quickly as possible and should be stored only in containers with screw-on lids for a few days in a cool place. Casein paints have a sufficiently high coating strength and are also suitable for facade work.

The bottle leaked into the envelope when I opened it. The cap needs to be tightened securely.
Note: It’s recommended for a 0.2 airbrush, but it was too thick for my 0.15 airbrush.
