Stretched Canvas, Grade 2
Stretched Canvas – 2nd Quality is a cost-effective alternative to a quality painting surface, designed for artists looking for a balance between quality and price. The canvas is made of 100 % high-weight cotton at 370 g/m², providing excellent absorbency and strength. Thanks to double universal gesso priming, it is ideal for acrylic paints and oil paints, and can also be used for experimenting with other techniques. The brown color on the back helps identify the original product. The canvas is stretched over a sturdy spruce frame with rounded edges and a profile measuring 3.5 × 2 cm. Larger formats also have center or cross braces, which increase stability while painting. 2nd quality means the canvases may have minor visual imperfections (such as small scratches, scuffs, or slight unevenness), which do not affect their functionality or the final artwork. Each canvas is machine-wrapped to ensure safe delivery without damage.
