Pebeo Studio Black Gesso 500 ml

Pebeo Studio Black Gesso from the Studio Acrylics range is an acrylic primer for preparing surfaces before painting with acrylic paints, oil paints, and tempera paints. It creates an absorbent, lightly textured surface with excellent adhesion and provides a deep, dark base for dramatic colors and tones. It is suitable for canvas, wood, paper, cardboard, drywall, and MDF.

The gesso has a thick, paste-like consistency and can be thinned with water before application for a smoother coat. Apply one or more coats with a brush, palette knife, or roller. Once dry, the surface is firm and non-sticky, and can be lightly sanded to achieve a smooth texture. Simply wash your tools with water after use.
