DARWI Dupont Gutta N Silk Contour, 100 ml

DARWI Dupont Gutta N is a clear solvent-based resist, which is a key part of the traditional French serti technique for silk painting. After application, it reliably penetrates the textile fibers and forms a flexible rubber barrier that prevents colors from bleeding or spreading between sections. Let the resist dry completely before applying colors, and make sure all lines are fully closed.

Apply it with a bottle fitted with a metal tip, a brush, or a sponge. The line thickness depends on the tip you choose. After the colors have been fixed by steaming, any remaining resist can be easily removed with mineral spirits or dry cleaning, leaving no color marks on the silk.
