JAVANA Silk Paints are special hobby paints suitable not only for painting silk but also for decorating textiles. They are vibrant paints with a flowing consistency and high pigmentation. The color range also includes 6 beautiful brilliant shades with fluorescent pigments. They penetrate deep into the fibers. They are water-based, so they also mix easily with water. They are designed for silk, as well as light-colored fabrics made from cotton, linen, viscose, or blends with a maximum synthetic fiber content of 20%.

Thanks to their consistency and texture, they are also ideal for art techniques using contours, watercolors, salts, airbrush spraying, or sprays. The paints can be mixed together, so you can create your own unique shades. In addition to mixing them with each other, you can also mix them with classic fabric paints. These hobby paints are easy to heat-set with an iron and are washable.

OUR TIP

Wash the silk or textile fabric before painting. Shake the jar of paint thoroughly before applying it to ensure an even consistency. After decorating, let the fabric dry completely before setting the paint, either by ironing through baking paper or from the reverse side of the fabric. Set the iron to the cotton setting. Iron for 3 minutes. After ironing, the paint will be lightfast and water-resistant when washed (wash inside out).
