The NATURE canvas is raw canvas without a white ground, the only stretched canvas in the ARTMiE range where the fabric color is part of the artwork. The 350 g/m² cotton retains its original warm brown shade: it shows through between brushstrokes, tones down vivid paints, and gives your work a depth you won’t get with white gesso. The fabric comes from Italy, and the stretcher frame is made of spruce with a 3.5 × 2 cm profile.

The raw surface gives you a choice: paint directly on the canvas with acrylic paints for stronger absorption and a matte, organic effect, or prime it with your own gesso and decide how much of the fabric’s texture to leave visible. Smooth, splinter-free stretcher bars and frame bracing provide stability in every format from 20 × 20 cm to 80 × 140 cm. Stretcher keys are not included in the pack and can be purchased separately.
