Silk paint Pebeo Setasilk has excellent coverage and delivers vivid, intense shades. It is made from resin and dispersed pigments. The shades are odorless and can be mixed together and thinned with water. It is suitable for application on all types of cotton, including chiffon, cotton twill, soft textured fabric (waffle cotton), crepe, pongee, damask, and more. You can apply it with a brush, through stencils, with stamps, or using rubber stamps.
Use: Wash the prepared silk fabric before applying the paints. This prevents damage to the fabric and paints from later washing. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. After drying for 48 hours and ironing on the reverse side (or on the front through parchment paper) for at least 5 min., the paints are resistant to washing at 40°C. Set the iron to the cotton setting. Decorated silk retains its flexibility and gloss.
