Pebeo Studio Acrylic Gesso

Pebeo Studio Gesso from the Studio Acrylics range is a quality acrylic primer for preparing various surfaces before painting. It creates an absorbent, finely textured, non-sticky surface with excellent adhesion, suitable for professional artists, students, and hobbyists working with acrylic paints, oil paints, or tempera paints.

Thanks to its thick, heavy body (thick) consistency, it provides reliable coverage on canvas, wood, paper, cardboard, drywall, and MDF boards. You can apply it directly or thin it with water. Once dry, simply sand it for a perfectly smooth result.

• Use: primer under acrylic, oil, and tempera paints
• Suitable surfaces: canvas, wood, paper, cardboard, drywall, MDF
• Consistency and properties: thick and heavy body, water-thinnable, creates a durable, non-sticky surface
• Application: with a brush, palette knife, or roller in 1 or more coats
• Drying time: surface dry in 30–60 minutes
• Care: simply wash tools with water immediately after use
