I really like using Mussini Medium W, in both gel and liquid form, because it turns regular oil paints into water-mixable paints and allows for a wider range of techniques and effects than oil paint alone. For me, it’s a better choice than water-mixable oil paints. Excellent product.
I use it with water-mixable oils when I need a medium to thin or extend the paint. Great for traveling because you can put it right on your palette.

I like the tone of this blue. It’s a very clean color. I haven’t used it in a painting yet, but I have high hopes. My test showed that it covers well and has a nice, oily, consistent texture. My brushes like it. I’ll add another comment once I’ve tried it in a painting.
The best flesh tone I’ve found. A lot of people have complimented the flesh tones in my paintings. It mixes beautifully with white for pale skin tones and with Burnt Umber for shadows. It also works great with Raw Sienna for oriental skin tones.
